My husband and I met in Florida back in the summer of 2001. We started dating in December of that year and married in May 2003. We had a beautiful wedding at Pine Island beach near Spring Hill, Florida (because of our love for the beach) and a stunning reception at a place called Palace Grand (I wanted the place because of the glass elevator).
We take a more photojournalist approach to weddings, because we like to capture your special day as it unfolds. To tell the story of the day you have been dreaming about. To start, if you like, we will be there while you get ready. For the bride getting those pictures of makeup touch ups, hair getting put up, dress and shoes before you put them on and more. For the groom we will be there for cuff links getting put on, putting on the tie, relaxing with the groomsmen and more. The ceremony we will follow your story, getting the grooms face when he sees his bride for the first time, showing the bride looking at her groom during the vows. Every step of your wedding ceremony even the emotions your parents are showing that you didn't get to see because it felt like it was only the two of you there. After the ceremony we like to spend at least 30 minutes getting some group shots followed by just the two of you for 10-15 minutes. Then at the reception we again go back to the "let the story unfold" approach. We may stop you and tell you that looks great, can you hold that I want to take another picture to make sure we got that. Our goal is to get the favorite portraits that everyone wants (group shots) and try to make it fun, not stuffy. Casual groupings where we hope everyone will feel relaxed and be natural. We also want to capture what you remember and what you didn't get to see. We would love to be your wedding photographers.
